The bustling harbour is filled with yachts, and the friendly crew will welcome you with a refreshing drink while they explain the boat’s features and safety rules.
Once everyone is on board, we will either sail to the calm waters of Fethiye Bay or stay in the harbour if some guests are still arriving.

You will join your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner onboard. The chef will serve a tasty meal of traditional Turkish dishes—grilled fish, mezes, and freshly baked bread—along with local wines. The gentle waves against the boat create a relaxing background for conversation and new friendships.

You will fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the boat. Tomorrow, your adventure truly begins.

Shortly after breakfast, we set sail towards Tersane Island, Gulf of Fethiye, a secluded spot with a fascinating history. The ruins of an ancient Roman-Greek shipyard emerge from the island’s shores, whispering tales of its maritime past. As the yacht anchors, you dive into the turquoise waters, swimming alongside remnants of a bygone era. The clear waters make it an ideal place for snorkelling, revealing schools of colourful fish darting among the ruins.

After a refreshing swim and some time to explore the island, we enjoy a leisurely lunch on board, with the surrounding cliffs providing a breathtaking backdrop.

In the afternoon, we cruise toward the natural bay of Aga Port, a stunning cove embraced by pine-clad hills. Here, the peaceful ambience invites you to relax on the deck with a book or take another dip in the pristine waters. As evening falls, a spectacular sunset paints the sky in warm hues of gold and crimson, setting the scene for another memorable dinner under the stars.

If you choose the excursion, you’ll board a small fishing boat and journey through the labyrinth of reeds along the Dalyan River, where an untouched world of natural beauty awaits. The river winds past dramatic rock-cut Lycian tombs carved high into the cliffs, standing as silent guardians of a bygone civilization. Gliding through the calm waters, you may glimpse the famous Caretta Caretta sea turtles, which have nestled on Turtle Beach for centuries.

Visiting the ancient city of Kaunos offers a glimpse into a fascinating past. Wander through the Roman amphitheatre, temples, and baths, feeling the echoes of history beneath your feet. Gulet boats have limited energy resources, which is why it’s recommended to limit the use of air conditioning to 4-6 hours per day. This will help conserve fuel and optimize the efficiency of the boat. It will also extend the lifespan of the generator and support eco-friendly practices by relying on natural ventilation. Running the generator at night can be quite noisy and disruptive to other passengers. Therefore, it’s important to strike a balance between guest comfort and environmental responsibility.

Due to boat licensing laws, you are not able to bring your own alcohol on the vessel. However, well-priced drinks are available for you to purchase on board using a tab system, which needs to be paid the day you check-out.

On all of our gulet cruises, we offer a traditional Turkish breakfast, a vegetarian lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, which are included in the price.
We offer Jain, Vegetarian, Vegan, Halal and Kosher food options on request.
You are welcome to bring extra snacks for the journey. Drinks can only be purchased on board on a tab basis, paid on the day you disembark.

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks on board (including water) but you can bring your own snacks, such as peanuts, crisps, biscuits etc.

Bar Payments: Please keep in mind that you will need to have cash available to cover any expenses at the bar during the trip. The bar payments will be settled on the final day of the journey. It is possible that there won’t be any ATMs available at the ports, so it is best to plan accordingly. However, do not worry about withdrawing cash at the outset as there are ATMs in Kas Port town that will become accessible on the second day of the journey.

Couples would get their own cabin. Depending on your group breakdown, solo travellers will share and may be roomed in a twin, double, triple or quad cabin.

If you are a couple, please add a note during booking.

Accommodation in multi-share cabins is included on this trip. Depending on availability, you may upgrade to a private triple/twin/double ensuite cabin.

Yes, you can change your departure date, depending on availability. A small fee will apply and, if the new departure date is more expensive, this difference will also need to be paid. You may also transfer the money you have already paid over to another trip of the same or higher value, provided it is outside of the notification period.

All of our vessels are traditional gulet yachts, which are constructed in Southern Turkey. These two or three-masted sailing vessels have everything you need, including ensuite cabins, a chef’s kitchen, dining areas and mattresses on the deck if you prefer to sleep under the stars.

To ensure you have enough room to move around your cabin, we recommend you bring a small to medium-sized suitcase or backpack.

Some boats have power sockets in the cabins while other vessels only have them only in the salon area. The power sockets can be used when the engine or generator is on.

Beach Towels not provided: Please be advised that we do not provide beach towels on board. We kindly request that you bring your own towels for use at the beach. While bath towels are available, they should not be used for the beach. Please note that shops selling towels are easily found in every town throughout Turkey.

Fethiye - Marmaris - Fethiye, 7 Nights

We went on an Olympos to Fethiye cruise with Sailnstay in May, and it was truly amazing. The views were breathtaking, and the sea was so clear. The best part was the friendships we made along the way. The crew was very professional, which allowed us to enjoy every moment. The food was delicious, and the comfort of the boat made us feel at home. Special thanks to the captain and his team for their hospitality and helpfulness. If you want to sail Turkey, I highly recommend this cruise with Sailnstay to anyone visiting!

Fethiye - Marmaris - Fethiye, 7 Nights

My wife & I had a fantastic trip on our Gulet. Everything about the trip exceeded our hopes and expectations. The Gulet was traditional and beautiful, the crew (3) were terrific, the food delicious and our fellow guests were all such fun and we got on so well. The coastal waterways (deep blue), the coastline and the towns visited were great. We even got to swim with turtles. We had a terrific holiday, and we recommend SailnStay to any aspiring travellers.

Fethiye - Marmaris - Fethiye, 7 Nights

I booked my 19 year old daughter on the 18-35 year Fethiye to Olympos cruise. What a fantastic tour company! The trip was amazing- great fun, great crew, great guests, great activities, great sites. Her flight from the UK was cancelled and she had to take a much later flight- the watsapp communications from SailnStay were great and they went out of their way to make sure she met up with the boat. Very reasonable price all round for the trip. She is a vegetarian and the food was amazing- again they went out of their way to make sure she had delicious vegetarian food at every meal. I cannot recommend SailnStay enough- they were incredible!
